Welcome to the Heart of the Horse website www.heartofthehorse.love. By accessing or using this Website, booking a service, purchasing products or participating in our experiences, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.​

Throughout these Terms, "Heart of the Horse", "we", "our" and "us" refers to Heart of the Horse.

2. Our Services

Heart of the Horse offers:

  • Healing with Horses sessions

  • Wellness retreats

  • Workshops and events

  • Educational resources

  • Books and digital products

  • Horse sponsorships

  • Merchandise

  • Online content

All services are subject to availability.

3. Bookings

Bookings are confirmed once payment (or deposit where applicable) has been received.

​

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel bookings where necessary.

4. Retreats and Events

Participants acknowledge that:

​

  • horses are large animals with unpredictable behaviour

  • all activities carry an inherent level of risk

  • participants agree to follow all safety instructions given by facilitators

  • participants must immediately disclose any medical condition that may affect participation

  • participants participate entirely at their own risk except where prohibited by law.

  • participants will sign a waiver and liability form before the experience commences

Closed shoes must be worn around horses.

​

Alcohol or recreational drugs must not be consumed before participating.

5. Health Disclaimer

Heart of the Horse provides educational, wellbeing and personal development experiences.​

​

Our services:

​

  • are not medical treatment

  • are not psychological treatment

  • are not counselling

  • are not intended to diagnose, treat or cure illness.

​

Participants should always seek advice from their qualified healthcare practitioner regarding any medical or mental health condition.

6. Personal Responsibility

You acknowledge that:

​

  • your wellbeing is your own responsibility

  • you participate voluntarily

  • results vary between individuals

  • no specific outcome can be guaranteed.​

7. Horse Welfare

The welfare of our horses always comes first.

​

Heart of the Horse reserves the right to:

​

  • modify activities

  • end a session

  • remove participants

  • postpone experiences​

​

where necessary for horse welfare or participant safety.

8. Weather

As activities occur outdoors, sessions may be postponed due to:​

​​

  • extreme heat

  • bushfire risk

  • storms

  • heavy rain​

  • unsafe conditions.

​

Where possible, bookings will be rescheduled.

9. Cancellations

Individual Sessions

​

More than 48 hours notice:

​

  • Full refund or transfer.

​

Less than 48 hours:

​

  • No refund unless exceptional circumstances apply.

​

No-show:

​

  • No refund.

​

Retreats

​

Deposits are non-refundable.

​

Cancellations:

​

  • 30+ days before retreat:

  • Full refund less administration fee.

​​

14 days:

​

  • 50% refund.

  • * If place can be refilled full refund given

​

Less than 7 days:

​​

  • No refund unless your place can be filled.

  • We strongly recommend travel insurance.​

10. Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers:​

  • are valid for 1 years unless otherwise stated

  • are not redeemable for cash

  • are transferable unless otherwise specified.​​

11. Online Store

Prices are shown in Australian Dollars (AUD).

We reserve the right to change pricing without notice.

Orders may be cancelled where products become unavailable.

12. Shipping

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.

Delivery times are estimates only.

Heart of the Horse is not responsible for delays caused by postal or courier services.

13. Returns

Where required by Australian Consumer Law, customers are entitled to remedies for faulty goods.

We do not provide refunds for change of mind.

Digital products cannot be returned once downloaded unless required by law.

14. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, all content on this Website including:

  • photographs

  • horse images

  • videos

  • written material

  • artwork

  • meditations

  • logos

  • branding

  • book content

remains the intellectual property of Heart of the Horse and Heart Led Healing Collective.

15. Testimonials

Testimonials represent individual experiences.

They are not intended to guarantee similar outcomes.

16. Photography

During retreats or events we may take photographs or video for promotional purposes.

If you do not wish to appear in photographs, please notify us before your event.

17. User Content

If you submit reviews, photographs or testimonials, you grant Heart of the Horse permission to publish them on our website, social media and promotional materials unless otherwise agreed.​

18. Website Use

You agree not to:

  • upload malicious software

  • attempt unauthorised access

  • copy content without permission

  • interfere with Website operation.

  • travel expenses resulting from cancelled events.

You agree to indemnify Heart of the Horse against claims arising from your breach of these Terms or your negligent actions.

Heart of the Horse respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you provide through this Website.
